National U21 2025: Determining four quarter-final pairs

In group B, PVF got their ticket early so the 0-0 draw with TP HCM was just a formality. TP HCM with this 1 point is also sure to advance. Meanwhile, The Cong Viettel beat Tay Ninh 3-0 to close the group stage.

As for Group C, fans witnessed the confrontation between two teams that were already guaranteed tickets, HAGL and Hanoi, to compete for the top spot. Hanoi was the team that opened the score thanks to a header from Thien Phu, before Gia Bao equalized 1-1 with an aerial strike, helping HAGL share points and lead the group thanks to a better sub-index. In the remaining match, Dong Thap came from behind to beat Dak Lak 3-1 after conceding a goal.

At the end of the group stage, 6 teams won direct tickets including: Da Nang, PVF-CAND (group A); PVF, The Cong Viettel (group B); HAGL, Hanoi (group C). Two tickets for the third-placed team with the best results belonged to SLNA and TP HCM (both 4 points). The third-placed team in group C, Dong Thap, was eliminated due to only having 3 points.

In the quarter-finals, 4 matches will take place on July 27.
