At the press conference, Mr. Ngo Quang Hung, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office, informed the news agencies and press about the socio-economic development situation in the first 9 months and the tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in the last months of 2025. Accordingly, the economic growth rate (GRDP) of the province in the first 9 months is estimated to increase by 11.67%, leading the country in growth, the highest growth rate in the past 10 years; total state budget revenue in the province reached 51,465 billion VND, reaching over 90% of the Central Government's estimate, up 27% over the same period in 2024; attracting domestic non-budget capital achieved high results, more than 194,000 billion VND, 20 times higher than the same period in 2024; the whole province newly established 2,956 enterprises and dependent units, up 41.6% over the same period. Along with that, social security work is ensured. Quang Ninh ranked 3rd nationwide in the 2025 Local Innovation Index (PII). National defense - security, border and island sovereignty are maintained, social order and safety are ensured.
Also at the press conference, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs provided information on the results of implementing the 2-level local government model after 3 months of implementation.
Journalists and reporters requested to be provided with clearer information on a number of issues related to the progress of site clearance and implementation of a number of key projects in the province; the arrangement and reorganization of the health and education systems; the situation of "illegal" taxis affecting the tourism environment in the Bai Chay area...
