This morning, September 27, Mr. Briu Quan, Chairman of the People's Committee of A Vuong Commune ( Da Nang City), said that in the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Civil Defense Command - Command of Natural Disaster Prevention, Search, Rescue and Rescue of A Vuong Commune held a meeting to deploy storm prevention work, thoroughly implementing the motto "4 on-site".
In addition, the response force was also deployed to 16 villages to inspect and support the reinforcement of headquarters, schools, and houses; and promote the harvesting of the remaining 25 hectares of rice in the fields.

Notably, for A'ur village located deep in the forest (nearly 15 km), bordering Hue City, it is predicted that the storm will be greatly affected. The commune leaders contacted the village chief to proactively prevent the storm to ensure the safety of 23 households with 186 people.
"Commune leaders requested that people not be allowed into the forest or rivers, and to check and reinforce the village school, and to be ready to evacuate in case of prolonged heavy rain and landslides," said Mr. Quan.
Mr. Bui The Anh, Chairman of the People's Committee of La Dee Commune, said that due to the complicated developments of storm No. 10, storm response forces have been assigned to be on duty 24/7. Roads with high risk of landslides have been blocked and early warnings have been issued. "If there is heavy rain, we will immediately evacuate people from the danger zone, prioritizing absolute safety for the people," said Mr. Bui The Anh.
According to Thanh Nien reporters , due to the influence of storm No. 10, on September 27, many localities in the south of Da Nang City had heavy rain.
In Tam Ky Ward, Hung Vuong, Tran Cao Van, Huynh Thuc Khang streets... and some other low-lying areas and roads, the water is sometimes up to half the wheel.
Responding to storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi): The army mobilized more than 240,000 people and 4,000 vehicles.

According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, storm No. 10 has entered the East Sea, the strongest wind near the storm's eye is level 11, gusting to level 14 and is likely to strengthen.

This is a very fast moving storm at about 35 km/h (twice the speed of normal storms), very strong intensity, wide range of influence, can cause combined impacts of many types of natural disasters such as strong winds, heavy rains, floods, flash floods, landslides and coastal flooding; storm circulation causes heavy rain in Da Nang city.
Therefore, the city requires not to be negligent or subjective, seriously organize on-duty, monitor, update, and grasp the storm's developments; focus on leadership, direction, review, update plans, and be ready to immediately deploy response measures to storm No. 10 with a decisive spirit "early, from afar"; proactively take response measures to ensure the safety of people's lives and property, and not be passive or surprised in any situation.
The People's Committee of Da Nang City also requested the Border Guard, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and localities to count 100% of boats, promptly report on storm developments; provide guidance on safe shelters, and possibly restrict or prohibit sea travel depending on the situation.
Currently, Da Nang City has 4 ships operating in the area affected by storm No. 10.
The army harvests rice, calls on ships to anchor, and is on 100% standby for storm No. 10.
The city also requested to set up checkpoints at landslide and overflow points, strictly prohibiting traffic; prepare rescue forces and vehicles to evacuate people urgently. The Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of communes and wards will proactively decide to let students take a day off on September 29 depending on the actual situation of storms, floods and the characteristics of each locality (especially pay attention to communes and wards at risk of landslides).
Da Nang plans to evacuate more than 210,000 people
September 27, Civil Defense Command Da Nang City predict the complex developments of Storm No. 10, localities are continuing to closely monitor the storm's developments to proactively evacuation when necessary.
Specifically, in case of a strong storm, Da Nang City plans to evacuate 210,014 people in 94 communes and wards; of which 92,041 people will be interspersed and 117,974 people will be relocated centrally.
People will be evacuation to schools, pagodas, cultural houses, community centers and solid constructions concentrated in the locality.
Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 10, Da Nang City plans to evacuate more than 210,000 people to ensure absolute safety.

Currently, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command is still contacting, notifying, calling, and guiding fishing vessels and vehicles in operation to proactively avoid and move out of the storm's affected area, and plan their journeys and production to ensure safety.
Ships are also guided to anchor safely at the lock and Tho Quang fishing port, Tien Sa port and the areas of Hoi Kieng, Cua Dai, Cu Lao Cham, Nui Thanh.
