- Some other groups of compounds: amino acids, tannins, flavonoids.

As mentioned above, to get the best effect, the source of medicinal herbs plays an important role: the right plant species, harvesting xạ đen at the right time (autumn and winter, early morning when the dew has not yet completely disappeared), harvesting naturally in the forest or in clean growing areas and must be pre-processed and dried after harvesting within 24 hours with the appropriate method.

The use of fresh or dried black xạ leaves (conditions of quality medicinal herbs) does not differ in effect. Therefore, for convenience in use and long-term storage, we should choose dried black xạ at a reputable facility, ensuring origin.

However, the use of fresh or dried xạ đen depends on each prescription, dosage and you need to consult a doctor for advice on the appropriate dosage. Normally, xạ đen used will correspond to 10 - 15g of dry medicinal herbs, but the maximum should only be used about 70g xạ đen/day.

If you want to use fresh xạ đen, it is only convenient to grow xạ đen plants. However, xạ đen plants have good active ingredients when grown in places with suitable climate and soil. Growing xạ đen plants in pots in families may not ensure the growth, development and accumulation of active ingredients of the plant.

Note, for chronic diseases such as cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc., patients need to follow the doctor's treatment and not stop taking the medicine on their own. When using xạ đen, you should consult your doctor for proper use to achieve optimal results.
