At the film premiere in Hanoi , director Vu Thanh Vinh said that this was the first time he introduced his work in Hanoi. “I have been looking forward to this premiere moment for a long time. I want to make films to connect love. That is the message I always send in my works,” the male director expressed.

“Cinema has great power, not only evoking love for the country and pride, but also touching the deepest corners of each person’s soul. Through this film, I want the audience to realize that in family and in love, sometimes we hurt the person we love because of love. Love requires patience. No one wants to fall, but when they fall, everyone hopes to have an arm to lift them up,” the director shared.

“When you fall, I lift you up” has quickly received positive feedback from the audience. The film chose to exploit the perspective of a pair of orphaned sisters who had to support each other. The story becomes more intimate when set in the context of a modern city, where young people have to struggle to make a living and at the same time take on the responsibility of taking care of their younger brother, things that are often considered “obvious duties” in East Asian society. Hai Thuong loves her brother, but is also full of hurt. She is angry when criticized by her own brother, and disappointed when all her sacrifices are not recognized.

Le Khanh once again affirmed her position as a talented actress with more than 20 years of commitment to the screen. Her eyes and expressions in the painful, inner-torn scenes made the audience's hearts ache. The actress shared that the role of Hai Thuong was a big challenge in her career because this was not simply the role of a gentle older sister, but a woman who was repressed, hurt many times but still brave enough to protect her younger sister.
The actors' perfect chemistry surprised the audience in the psychologically demanding scenes. In addition, the four main actors Le Khanh, Quoc Truong, Thuan Nguyen, and Uyen An also showed their ability to create sweet chemistry when bringing emotional love scenes.

“Chi nga em nang” is a film that deeply explores the message of love, family and the core values of life. Not only does it have a healing color, the film is also carefully invested with the participation of a talented cast. In addition to the 4 main actors, “Chi nga em nang” has the participation of People’s Artist Ta Minh Tam, Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy, Phuong Lan, Thanh Thuc, Dinh Y Nhung, Ta Lam, Lam Bao Chau, Miss Nhu Van, two “stars” from Thailand Moslhong (Mos) and Isbanky (Bank)…
As a family drama, “Chi Ngan Em Cang” has many heavy psychological acting scenes, many dangerous action scenes that the actors have to perform themselves, along with trendy comedy pieces that are loved by the audience. All are harmonized in the script to create an experience that is both dramatic and intimate, making it impossible for viewers to take their eyes off.

At the film premiere, actor Quoc Truong shared that he had been to Hanoi many times but each time was as exciting as the first time. Known for his villainous image, Quoc Truong this time tried his hand at the role of Doctor Truong - a positive role. The actor admitted that this was a new challenge, but because he did not want to fall into a stereotype, recently the actor prioritized positive roles more.
In their romantic roles, Thuan Nguyen and Uyen An had many passionate scenes. Both revealed that their working principles are to respect their co-stars and be absolutely professional.
