Perspective of high-end complex tourist service area in Van Don.

The project will be implemented in Van Yen commune, Van Don district, Quang Ninh province (boundary determined according to the construction planning of the high-end complex tourism service area in Van Don Economic Zone approved according to the provisions of the law on construction). The project has a minimum investment capital of 2 billion USD. The project's operation period shall not exceed 70 years from the date the investor is granted the Decision on Investor Approval.

Accordingly, the project's objective is to invest in building a high-end entertainment and resort complex, organizing international-class events, an attractive destination in the world with main activities: Casino business; real estate business, tourism services, hotels, resort villas; complex of commercial centers, offices, conferences, seminars; high-quality sports , entertainment and health care facilities.

Casino business activities and piloting the entry of Vietnamese people into casinos can only be carried out when meeting the conditions prescribed by the law on casino business and other relevant legal provisions.

The project will have an area of 244.45 hectares. The land use structure and boundaries of the functional areas of the land area for investment and construction (182.37 hectares) include: Casino land, resort hotel land, commercial and tourism service land and hotel land, resort villa land, commercial and service land, tourism service land, public land, park land, trees, sports, school land, water surface, sandbank, parking lot land, forest land, technical infrastructure hub land, traffic land, other technical infrastructure implemented according to the construction planning of the high-class complex tourism service area in Van Don Economic Zone, Quang Ninh province approved according to the provisions of law on construction.

The area of natural forest land (62.08 hectares, including 38.29 hectares of protection forest and 23.79 hectares of production forest) interspersed within the scope of project implementation is kept in its current state; managed and used according to the provisions of the law on forestry and other relevant legal provisions and is not part of the area of land allocated or leased for project implementation.

The project implementation progress shall not exceed 9 years from the date the investor is allocated land or leased land to implement the project. The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province shall determine the form of selection of investors to implement the project, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on investment, land, bidding and other relevant provisions of law. The investor implementing the project must ensure sufficient capacity and meet all conditions as prescribed by law.
