Plan Tuyen Quang Office and Department of Foreign Affairs presented gifts to support people in Ha Giang 2 ward who suffered damage due to storms and floods.

On the morning of October 21, Plan Tuyen Quang Office in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs presented 100 gifts to 100 households affected by storms and floods in Ha Giang 2 ward.

Representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Plan Tuyen Quang Office presented gifts to households.

Each household received a gift including: warm blankets, personal hygiene items for women. Along with that, Plan Tuyen Quang representatives coordinated with local authorities to promote and provide knowledge on child protection during and after natural disasters, personal hygiene and reproductive health for girls.

The program is part of an emergency support package implemented by Plan International Vietnam to join hands with the Government and partners in protecting children, especially girls, from the impacts of natural disasters and climate change; contributing to building safe, resilient communities and better adapting to future risks.
