Gold rings and SJC remain stable, USD exchange rate increases by 10 VND

Domestic gold prices remained stable this morning, June 17, while the USD at commercial banks increased by 10 VND.

At 9:15 a.m., Doji Company announced the buying price of SJC gold at 75.30 million VND/tael and the selling price at 76.98 million VND/tael. Two other companies, Saigon Jewelry Company and Vietnam Gold, also listed the price of SJC gold at 74.98-76.98 million VND/tael (buying/selling), remaining stable.

The above prices were also kept stable by domestic enterprises last week. The difference between buying and selling prices fluctuated from 1.6-2 million VND/tael.

This morning, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of plain round gold rings at 74.28-75.58 million VND/tael (buy/sell). Phu Quy Company announced the price of 999.9 round gold rings at 74.10-75.40 million VND/tael, unchanged from the end of last week.

In the world , the price of gold fluctuates around 2,332.8 USD/ounce. When converted, this precious metal is equivalent to 71.6 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,259 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND compared to the end of last week (June 15).

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietinbank and Vietcombank both listed the USD exchange rate from 25,221-25,471 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND. Similarly, Agribank bought at 25,271 VND/USD and sold at 25,471 VND/USD; BIDV announced from 25,231-25,471 VND/USD (buy/sell), an increase of 10 VND compared to the previous closing price.
