SJC gold today, May 9, sets a new record, close to 89 million VND/tael

SJC gold unexpectedly increased sharply in the opening session this morning (May 9) when the selling price in many places approached the mark of 89 million VND/tael.

At 9:00 a.m., Saigon Jewelry Company listed prices at VND86.0-88.30 million/tael, an increase of VND800,000/tael compared to the previous closing price.

Vietnam Gold Company listed the price of SJC gold from 85.70-87.70 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 300,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions. Doji Company announced the price of SJC gold from 85.70-87.20 million VND/tael, an increase of 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

Yesterday (May 8), the State Bank successfully bid for 3,400 taels of gold with a total of 3 winning members, with the highest winning price being 86.05 million VND/tael and the lowest winning price being 86.05 million VND/tael.

However, this brand has continued to maintain a high level. On the afternoon of May 8, this brand increased by 200,000-300,000 VND/tael. The difference between buying and selling prices is kept by businesses at 2.1-2.3 million VND/tael.

As for Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, opening trading this morning, the company listed the price of plain round gold rings at 73.83-75.33 million VND/tael (buy/sell), down 50,000 VND/tael compared to the previous session. In yesterday's session, this brand reduced 90,000 VND/tael, maintaining the difference between buying and selling at 1.5 million VND/tael.

In the world , the price of gold fell sharply to 2,312 USD/ounce (down 3 USD/ounce compared to yesterday morning). This price when converted is equivalent to 70.95 million VND/tael.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,265 VND/USD, up 16 VND compared to the previous session.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank and Agribank both listed the price from 25,178-25,478 VND/USD (buy/sell), an increase of 17 VND. Similarly, Vietinbank announced the buying price at 25,223 VND/USD and the selling price at 25,478 VND/USD, an increase of 17 VND compared to the previous closing price, and BIDV applied the exchange rate from 25,176-25,476 VND/USD, an increase of 15 VND.
