At the meeting with Vice President of OIA, Chairman of Vietnam-Oman Investment Fund (VOI) Nasser Bin Suleiman Al-Harthy, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated the role of OIA as a pioneer investor in Oman and the GCC region in early implementing investment projects in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the positive development of Vietnam-Oman relations; expressed his joy at the results achieved by OIA when it brought the total investment capital in Vietnam to more than 500 million USD.

Emphasizing that Vietnam's development potential is huge, Oman has implemented investment projects from an early age and become one of the first GCC countries to invest in Vietnam, OIA Vice President Nasser Bin Suleiman Al-Harthy expressed his support and appreciation for current reforms in Vietnam, especially in the economic and institutional aspects, which have contributed significantly to creating a favorable investment and business environment for foreign investors, opening up many new cooperation opportunities.
The Vice President of OIA reaffirmed that OIA will continue to strengthen and further enhance the efficiency of investment activities in Vietnam, promote investors from Oman and the GCC region to participate in investment projects, and soon achieve the goal of increasing the scale of OIA's investment capital in Vietnam to 1 billion USD as committed at the meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in May 2025.
The two sides also agreed to promote the signing of cooperation agreements in areas such as food security, financial centers, and the construction of Halal industrial parks.

At the meeting with OCCI President Sheikh Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the potential for economic, trade and investment cooperation and agreed to implement many specific solutions to promote bilateral relations in the coming time.
The OCCI Chairman highly appreciated Vietnam's position and development potential, affirming that the Vietnamese market is currently very attractive not only to Omani investors but also to investors in the Middle East and internationally.
Emphasizing that Vietnam is not only a bright spot in economic growth but also admired for its people, culture and history of resilient struggle, entering a new era of development, transforming from an international production center into a center of innovation and creativity, the OCCI President affirmed his readiness to coordinate with relevant agencies of the two countries, especially the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to further promote connections between the business communities and investors of the two countries.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang reaffirmed that Vietnam wishes to strengthen multifaceted cooperation with Oman, especially in the fields of economics, investment, oil and gas, and agriculture; requested OCCI to increase information to investors, businesses of Oman and partner countries about economic, trade and investment cooperation opportunities in Vietnam; encouraged OCCI and VCCI to expand their cooperation portfolio to areas such as innovation, creativity, artificial intelligence and strengthen coordination to soon organize Oman business delegations to Vietnam and vice versa, especially during international fairs and exhibitions in the two countries, contributing significantly to bringing the Vietnam-Oman relationship to a new height.
