Vietnam endless beauty

Việt NamViệt Nam03/09/2024

According to the National Tourism Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), in the first 6 months of 2024, Vietnam's tourism industry welcomed more than 8.8 million international visitors and served over 66 million domestic visitors, an increase of nearly 60% over the same period in 2023.

The National Tourism Administration updated data for the first four months of 2024 (the peak international tourism season is from September of the previous year to April of the following year) showing that the number of international visitors to Vietnam ranked third in Southeast Asia, after Thailand and Malaysia. This index brings in large revenue for the tourism industry. Specifically, if the revenue in the first six months of 2023 reached VND 343,100 billion, then in the first six months of 2024 it increased to VND 436,500 billion - much higher than the VND 338,200 billion of the first six months of 2019 (before the Covid-19 pandemic).
