On his personal Twitter page, the Forrest Gump star wrote: "Hello everyone, after nearly two weeks of being diagnosed with Covid-19, we feel much better." Earlier, on the morning of March 12 (Vietnam time), when he and his wife went to Australia to film a film about the famous singer Elvis Presley in which Tom Hanks played the role of a specialized manager produced by Warner Bros, he and his wife felt unwell, had a fever, and chills, so they went for a test and found out that they both had Covid-19. The couple was immediately quarantined at Queensland Hospital.
