Duong Minh Chau Commune: Visiting and supporting households affected by heavy rain and tornadoes

On October 11, a working delegation from Duong Minh Chau commune (Tay Ninh province) led by Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council Huynh Vuong Hieu visited, encouraged and provided support to 5 poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households that suffered damage due to heavy rain, wind and tornadoes in the area.

Previously, at about 10:00 p.m. on October 9, 2025, heavy rain accompanied by a tornado occurred in the commune, blowing off the roofs of 5 houses, causing property damage and affecting the daily lives of households.

The affected households include: Mr. Mai Van Hoang, Mr. Nguyen Van Lan, Mr. Cao Van Quen and Ms. Cao Tra Mi, all residing in Phuoc Binh 1 hamlet; Ms. Le Thi Kim Hong, residing in Phuoc Binh 2 hamlet. The total damage of the 5 households is estimated at nearly 100 million VND.

At the places visited, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Huynh Vuong Hieu commune kindly visited and shared the difficulties of the households, and at the same time gave each household 5 million VND in initial support to help them repair and restore their houses and soon stabilize their lives./.
