Tru Van Tho commune was established on the basis of merging Cay Truong II commune, Tru Van Tho commune and Bau Long quarter (Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district, Binh Duong province before).

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Huynh Thanh Nhan surveyed the administrative service center of Tru Van Tho commune.

Currently, the office is divided into 2 facilities, of which facility 1 is the workplace of Party and government agencies and the Public Administration Service Center; facility 2 is the workplace of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations.

When established, the Commune Party Committee received 24 branches and affiliated Party Committees with 650 Party members. The total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers after the merger of the commune was 111 people.

At the meeting, the commune leaders made recommendations related to the current difficulties of the locality such as: There are 8 cases of contract workers under Decree 111/2022/ND-CP without instructions on how to resolve the regime or arrangement plan, so the locality has difficulty in arranging these subjects; there is no clear decentralization in implementing salary increases and salary transfers for cadres, civil servants and public employees; some departments and branches have not announced the process of handling administrative procedures under the authority of the Commune People's Committee; there is no document guiding the configuration of online payment accounts for administrative procedures under the authority of the Commune People's Committee...

In addition, the commune also proposed difficulties in the material facilities of the working places of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and commune organizations, and proposed increasing the need to supplement the budget estimate for the last 6 months of 2025.

Comrade Huynh Thanh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City and members of the delegation noted the common difficulties of the communes after the reorganization. He emphasized that regarding the regime and policies for cadres, civil servants and workers, the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance of Ho Chi Minh City need to promptly advise the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and soon have instructions for the communes to implement.
