Consider supplementing the planning of the Central Committee, Secretariat, and Politburo of the 14th term

On the morning of July 18, the 12th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee solemnly opened in Hanoi .

One of the important groups of content at the 12th Central Conference is the group of content on personnel work, Party building and implementation of Party regulations.

Accordingly, the Central Committee will consider supplementing the planning of the Central Executive Committee, the Secretariat, and the Politburo of the 14th tenure; the direction of personnel work for the 14th Central Executive Committee; and review personnel work under its authority.

In his opening speech, General Secretary To Lam said that this group of contents had been carefully prepared by the Central Organizing Committee, in a systematic and systematic manner, in compliance with the Party's Charter and regulations and current laws.

Regarding the content of the report presented to the 14th Congress on the Summary of the work of building and implementing the Party's charter, the Document clearly assessed the reasons for success in the process of implementing the 10 tasks of Party building, 3 key tasks and 3 breakthrough solutions set forth by the 13th Congress.

The report summarizes 15 years of implementing the Party's charter (2011-2025), drawing profound lessons on this work. At the same time, the document also sets out directions, tasks, and solutions for Party building work and implementing the Party's charter during the 14th Congress term.

General Secretary To Lam suggested that the Central Committee should concentrate its intelligence and thoroughly discuss core issues. Among them, clearly defining the direction of personnel work for the 14th Central Executive Committee.

"This is a particularly important content, directly affecting the success or failure of the entire next term. Personnel must ensure standards and conditions, have strong political will, innovative thinking, pure ethics, act decisively for the collective, for the people, put the interests of the nation and people above all else. We must follow Uncle Ho's teaching "Cadres are the root of all work" - General Secretary To Lam emphasized.

Regarding the content related to comments on the Draft Report on the Summary of Party building work and implementation of the Party Charter, General Secretary To Lam requested to focus on the directions, tasks, and solutions for Party building work during the 14th Congress term, paying special attention to the organizational model and cadre capacity according to the two-level local government model.

Proposing amendments and supplements in line with the practice of Party building in the new period, emphasizing the work of inspection, supervision and Party discipline in addition to recommending synchronous amendments to the system of regulations on personnel work, planning, management decentralization; standards and criteria for evaluating cadres; system of titles and positions; political theory training... building the Charter is not only a legal framework but also the "soul" of Party discipline, the foundation for maintaining solidarity and unity within the entire Party.
