Handling the driver of the blue-plate car driving the wrong way in Da Nang

On the afternoon of November 4, the Traffic Police Department of Hai Chau District, Da Nang City, announced that it had issued an administrative violation ticket to the driver of a blue-plate car driving in the wrong direction on the road leading to Da Nang International Airport.

Previously, social networks posted pictures and clips of a car with blue license plate 43E-0993 running on Nguyen Van Linh Street, the section leading to Da Nang International Airport.

When arriving at the airport toll booth, the car drove into the opposite lane and turned into the headquarters of an agency next to the toll booth.

Receiving the information, the Traffic Police and Order Team of Hai Chau District Police investigated and invited the driver of the above car to work.

At the police station, the driver of the car going in the wrong direction was identified as D.NBQ (58 years old, residing in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city).

Working with the authorities, driver D.NBQ admitted to the violation of driving in the wrong direction on the above mentioned road section.

The Traffic Police and Order Team of Hai Chau District Police made a record of administrative violation against driver Q. for the violation of "Going the wrong way on a road with a sign prohibiting going the wrong way".

For this violation, driver Q. will be fined 4 - 6 million VND and have his driver's license revoked for 2 - 3 months.

Previously, on September 26, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) also invited two drivers of blue-plate cars who illegally overtook on the Cam Lo - La Son highway to work.

Specifically, these two blue-plate cars include vehicle with license plate 37A-006.50 (belonging to the Department of Planning and Investment of Nghe An province) and vehicle with license plate 73A-005.49 (belonging to the Management Board of Sustainable Rural Development Project for the Poor of Quang Binh province).

While traveling on Cam Lo - La Son highway and encroaching on lanes and overtaking other vehicles, the two blue-plate cars did not have priority lights or horns.
