A series of medical examination and treatment facilities, dental clinics, and cosmetic clinics providing medical examination and treatment services without operating licenses; many individuals performing medical examination and treatment without being granted a practice certificate have just been announced by the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to be fined on the industry's electronic information portal.

It is worth mentioning that most of these facilities had victims hospitalized for emergency treatment, and then the Department of Health Inspectorate inspected and discovered the violations. Public opinion questioned whether it was only when an accident occurred that the facility was discovered to be operating without a license, the doctors did not have a practicing certificate, and the people were still "guinea pigs"?

For a long time, many clinics in Ho Chi Minh City have been profiting from the pain and fear of patients. Many clinics have even had their operating licenses revoked, but after only a few days, they have returned to normal, using the "cicada shedding" trick of changing their names and signs to deceive the authorities. The health sector regularly propagates and calls on people to research and choose reputable facilities before going to medical facilities for safe and effective treatment.

The health sector even held meetings with departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, and Thu Duc City to agree on solutions to increase the initiative and effectiveness in state management of cosmetic service establishments in the city. However, the propaganda did not achieve the desired results.

While waiting for the joint efforts of the locality and the people, the Department of Health also needs to be more effective in promptly detecting and handling violating establishments; strengthening inspection, examination and post-inspection to improve the health of medical examination and treatment, and cosmetic surgery in the area. Do not force people to be "smarter" when looking for reputable addresses, while the management of the authorities is still weak.
