According to Da Do Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd., there are currently many sedimentation points on the Da Do River, affecting the ability to store water, store water and regulate water resources for production and people's lives around the area.

The sedimentation points include: the area from Trung Trang culvert to Vang bridge; the area of ​​An Khanh commune (from Ba La river to Nguyet bridge); the area from Phu Lien ward to Hoa Binh bridge (area near Hung Dao water plant); the area from Han dam to Doi Kien Thuy mountain area; the area from Doi bridge to Co Tieu culvert (sedimentation about 4 km).

The Da Do river area is being silted up in An Khanh commune.

The sedimentation points are 0.6m to 1.5m higher than the bottom elevation, even up to 2m in some places. The reason is that the Da Do River has not been dredged for many years, and sludge from cultivated fields is dumped into it.

The appearance of sedimentation and shallowing points in the system significantly affects the regulation of water resources, serving the production of more than 20,000 hectares of rice and crops in the localities of An Lao, Kien Thuy, Kien An, Do Son and Duong Kinh located along the Da Do system.

At the same time, the water storage capacity is reduced during the 5 dry months, affecting the domestic water supply for about 1/3 of the population in the Eastern Hai Phong area and water plants, industrial parks and clusters in the city.

The Da Do River is silting up in the Nui Doi area, Kien Thuy commune.

Faced with this situation, Da Do Irrigation Works Exploitation Company hopes that the city will soon pay attention to investing resources in dredging Da Do River to ensure water security, increase water storage capacity, and accumulate water for production and people's lives.
