Attending the gala night were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Deputy Head of the Hanoi City National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai along with hundreds of teenagers and children in the ward and a large number of people and tourists.

On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Son Tay Ward, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tay Ward Nguyen Thi Thu Huong emphasized that the Mid-Autumn Festival is an occasion for the Party, the State, and mass organizations to show their concern for children, the future owners of the country. Caring for, nurturing, and developing future generations is the responsibility of all levels, sectors, families, schools, and the whole society.

Organizing the annual Mid-Autumn Festival for children has become an indispensable content in the Party Resolution and the action plan of the People's Committee of Son Tay ward.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong affirmed that this year's Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the activities of the Action Month for Children plan in 2025, contributing to creating conditions for all children to have healthy fun and develop comprehensively in a safe and friendly environment. Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children are widely deployed by the ward, ensuring safety, health and usefulness, contributing to educating children to preserve national cultural identity; creating opportunities for children, especially poor children, orphans, disabled children, and children in difficult circumstances to develop in a safe, friendly and equal environment.

The program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Son Tay - Xu Doai Citadel" in 2025 is organized in conjunction with the walking street space around the moat of Son Tay Citadel, contributing to promoting tourism and culture of the ward, is an event that concretizes the spiritual content of Program No. 06-CTr/TU dated March 17, 2021 of the Hanoi Party Committee on "Developing culture, improving the quality of human resources, building elegant and civilized Hanoians in the period of 2021-2025".

The festival has many unique and attractive activities, attracting a large number of teenagers, children, tourists and local people to participate, such as: Lion and dragon dance performance; Mid-Autumn lantern model competition of 57 residential groups in the area... In particular, the program also has the participation of artists, singers, actors celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with the teenagers and children of Son Tay.

The above activities contribute to recreating, preserving, promoting traditional cultural values and restoring the beauty of the old Hanoi Mid-Autumn Festival; creating a cultural space and tourist destination for the people of Son Tay and neighboring areas, while helping the locality to better care for and protect children, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of teenagers and children in the ward.

At the festival, city delegates and leaders of Son Tay ward presented 57 gifts to disadvantaged teenagers and children in the area; awarded prizes to teams that won first, second, third, and encouragement prizes in the Mid-Autumn Lantern Competition.
