
Data from the Customs Department shows that the total value of imported and exported goods in July 2025 reached 82.29 billion USD, an increase of 8% (equivalent to an increase of 6.10 billion USD) compared to the previous month.
Of which, exports reached 42.29 billion USD, up 7% (up 2.76 billion USD) and imports reached 40 billion USD, up 9.1% (up 3.34 billion USD).
The trade balance of goods had a surplus of 2.29 billion USD, down 20% from 2.86 billion USD in June.
In the first 7 months of 2025, the total value of import and export of goods reached 514.72 billion USD, an increase of 16.3% (equivalent to an increase of 72.27 billion USD) over the same period in 2024.
Of which, exports reached 262.46 billion USD, up 14.8% (up 33.92 billion USD) and imports reached 252.26 billion USD, up 17.9% (up 38.35 billion USD).
The trade balance of goods in the first 7 months had a surplus of 10.20 billion USD, down 30.3% compared to the surplus of 14.64 billion USD in the same period last year.
Regarding state budget revenue from import-export activities, in July 2025, it reached VND 38,121 billion, down 2.7% over the previous month.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to July 31, 2025, revenue reached VND 261,376 billion, equal to 63.6% of the estimate and 55.6% of the target, up 9.1% over the same period in 2024.
