Xinhua and Reuters news agencies, citing Lebanese sources, confirmed that a woman was killed and 14 other civilians were injured on the night of June 13 in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house located between the town of Jannata and the urban area of Deir Qanoun En Nahr in southern Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes destroyed a house with two air-to-ground missiles, Lebanese military sources said.

Meanwhile, according to medical sources, the injured - including four in critical condition - have been transferred to three hospitals in the city of Tyre. Authorities and local residents are trying to find victims trapped under the rubble.

Earlier in the day, Hezbollah announced it had launched more than 100 Katyusha and Falaq rockets simultaneously at six Israeli military sites in a coordinated attack, escalating hostilities on Lebanon's southern border for the second consecutive day.

Hezbollah's statement said the movement also deployed at least 30 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to attack an intelligence headquarters, army barracks and the headquarters of Israel's Northern Command.

This is considered the largest attack carried out by Hezbollah since October 2023, when fighting between the two sides broke out in parallel with the conflict in Gaza.

Israel has accused Hezbollah, its Iranian patron and the Lebanese government of bearing "full responsibility" for the increase in cross-border violence between Israel and Lebanon, suggesting that tensions are escalating.

In the West Bank , Israeli forces raided the town of Qabatiya, surrounding a building, arresting several people and killing two Palestinians.

The Palestinian side has not yet made any further announcements about the deaths. Meanwhile, the Israeli military described them as "high-level terrorists" without specifying which organization they belonged to, and noted that many weapons were seized in this raid.

Several Palestinians were detained for "planting explosives on the road with the intention of attacking Israeli forces," the Israeli army said in a statement.

Meanwhile, in the Red Sea , Reuters quoted Houthi spokesman Yahya Sarea admitting that the movement was behind the missile attacks on the Verbena ship in the Arabian Sea and the Seaguardian and Athina ships in the Red Sea.

The Houthi spokesman noted that all these incidents were carried out with a number of ballistic missiles, naval missiles as well as UAVs and hit their targets.
