1 billion VND to support small and medium enterprises in 2024

The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to allocate 1 billion VND from the central budget to the Departments of Science and Technology; Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; and Industry and Trade to take charge of implementing tasks to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the province in 2024.

Specifically, the Department of Science and Technology is allocated 300 million VND for technological support; the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs 300 million VND to support human resource development; the Department of Industry and Trade 400 million VND to provide consulting support and support for small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in clusters and value chains.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to act as the focal point for advising and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee solutions to implement the work of supporting small and medium enterprises in the province; promptly propose and honor small and medium enterprises with achievements, innovation, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. The Department of Finance advised the Provincial People's Committee to allocate funds for units to implement tasks of supporting small and medium enterprises in 2024.

The Provincial People's Committee requests departments to effectively implement tasks, monitor, inspect, supervise progress and implementation results, have appropriate and timely solutions, and at the same time recommend and propose effective management and direction solutions to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the province; coordinate to widely notify enterprises in the province to participate in implementing support contents. Departments report and evaluate the implementation status and results of their sectors and units to the Department of Planning and Investment before December 5 every year to synthesize and report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Planning and Investment according to regulations.
