Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City Nguyen Duc Tien said that among the affiliated Unions that successfully organized the Congress, 32/43 affiliated Unions organized district-level Congresses; 11 affiliated Unions and clubs organized delegate conferences and 579 simultaneous Congresses at the commune level.
At the end of the district-level Congress, 27/32 consulted units directly elected the position of Association President at the Congress, achieving a high rate; 896 brothers and sisters were consulted to participate in the new Association Committee, 237 people joined the delegation to attend the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi, term 2024 - 2029.
According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City, with an enthusiastic and united atmosphere, the delegates participated in the Congress with a high sense of responsibility; actively participated in the work of the Congress; seriously implemented the regulations and programs of the Congress. The units organizing the Congress of delegates all summoned the correct number of delegates; ensuring that the delegates attending the Congress are outstanding cadres and members, prestigious with members and youth; and capable of contributing opinions to the decisions of the Congress.
The success of the Congresses of the Vietnam Youth Union at the grassroots and district levels is an important foundation, contributing to creating the premise for the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union in Hanoi, term 2024 - 2029, scheduled to be held in October 2024, to take place smoothly, according to the set plan and achieve high results.
