144.6 billion VND of socialized investment in building cultural and sports facilities

From 2021 to now, Hai Duong province no longer has a policy of financial support for the construction of cultural and sports facilities in villages and private residential areas. Localities mainly mobilize from new rural construction sources, socialized sources of organizations, individuals and people to support investment implementation.

According to the report, in the period of 2021-2024, the socialized source of investment in the construction of cultural and sports institutions in the province reached over 144.6 billion VND. Of which, the people's contributions and construction funding are quite large. Typically: Quynh Khe 1 village cultural house, Kim Xuyen commune (Kim Thanh) socialized 1.5 billion VND out of the total cost of 2.75 billion VND; Thuy Lam 2 village, Thanh Son commune (Thanh Ha) socialized 200 million VND out of the total cost of 450 million VND; Ngoc Lau village, Cam Hoang commune (Cam Giang) socialized 200 million VND out of the total construction cost of 1.2 billion VND; Tien Dong village, Hong Phong commune (Thanh Mien) was supported to build the entire cultural house...

Sports facilities are heavily invested by the private sector, typically: Chi Linh City has 1 golf course, 8 swimming pools, 13 sports fields, 6 gyms, 6 yoga rooms...

Social mobilization is also carried out in memorial buildings, cinema construction... Organizing cultural and sports activities in cultural and sports institutions in villages and residential areas is mainly done by voluntary contributions from people participating in activities.
