16 finalists of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam Heritage

(CLO) After dramatic and exciting competitions, the Organizing Committee selected 16 excellent contestants to enter the final round of the Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam contest.

On the evening of January 9, 2025, at Son Tay Cultural and Sports Center, the Town People's Committee coordinated with Q-Talent to organize the semi-final round of the "Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage" contest.

At the event, Vice Chairman of Son Tay Town People's Committee Le Dai Thang, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said that with the aim of finding beauties with "beauty, heart, talent" to promote the image of Vietnamese ao dai, the contest "Miss Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage" has promoted the role and capacity of Vietnamese women in the process of integration and development, promoting the country and people of Vietnam to international friends.

The “Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam” contest was announced to start in October 2024. Through the preliminary round, the jury selected 30 contestants to move on to the next round. These are talented faces from provinces and cities across the country.

Over the past few days, the contestants have visited and explored typical cultural and historical relics of Son Tay town, such as: Duong Lam ancient village, Va temple, Son Tay ancient citadel, Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village. Together, they participated in bonding activities, folk games, experienced culinary culture, unique traditional craft villages of Son Tay - Xu Doai land; participated in charity activities, gave gifts at Duong Lam Primary School, Xuan Son Secondary School, Tung Thien High School.

In the semi-final night, the contestants took turns going through the following competitions: Performing the Ao Dai collection of designers from T&T Fashion Design Academy; presenting on the role of intelligence, understanding of history, culture, especially Ao Dai and beauty in honoring the traditional values ​​of Vietnamese women and the talent competition.

The journey to find the owner of the Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam crown has come to the end. In the semi-final night, the judges comprehensively evaluated the contestants based on many criteria: Confidence, beauty, intelligence, performance ability, behavior and positive contributions to the community... After the semi-final night, the 16 best contestants of the Miss Ao Dai Heritage Vietnam contest were selected to compete in the final night.

"Son Tay is a land rich in historical traditions, culture and heritage. Through the contest, we highlight the unique cultural values ​​of Son Tay, especially historical and cultural relics and natural landscapes, attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists, promoting local economic development.

The contest is also an opportunity to introduce the traditional cultural values ​​of Son Tay town, thereby raising awareness of preserving cultural and historical heritage of the community. Organizing the contest also aims to build and enhance the image of Son Tay town as an attractive cultural destination in the eyes of tourists and investors" - Vice Chairman of Son Tay town People's Committee affirmed.

The final night of the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam Heritage contest took place at 7:30 p.m. on January 11 at the Culture and Sports Center of Son Tay town with the participation of famous guest singers, such as: Phuong My Chi, diva Thanh Lam, singer Tang Duy Tan, Thoai Nghi, Minh Chau...
