On January 2, a leader of Tan Loc Secondary and High School (Tan Loc Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau ) confirmed to Thanh Nien reporter that tomorrow (January 3), 10th grade students of the school will retake the literature test. The reason is that the first semester literature test for 10th grade that the school had previously organized used materials from textbooks. This is not in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, so the school must re-organize the test.
"Circular 32 of 2018 of the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates to avoid using texts learned in textbooks as materials to build reading and writing tests to accurately assess students' abilities, overcoming the situation where students only memorize lessons or copy content from available documents," explained the leader of Tan Loc Secondary and High School.

Speaking more about the process of creating the first semester test questions, the leader of Tan Loc Secondary and High School said: "According to school regulations, teachers of the same grade each create one question, then the group leader edits it into a new question for students to test." Currently, grade 10 of Tan Loc Secondary and High School has 8 classes with 365 students.
Previously, parents of students at Tan Loc Secondary and High School reported that 10th grade students had to retake the first semester literature test due to the school's error in setting the test questions.
Specifically, the school gave the final exam for the first semester of the 10th grade literature subject, in the writing section, requiring students to analyze the character Dam San in the text "Dam San goes to catch the Sun Goddess" excerpt from Dam San - Ede Epic (5 points).
In addition to the violation of using content learned in textbooks to do test questions, some parents also reported that students in three classes in grade 10 of the school have not yet studied the text "Dam San goes to catch the Sun Goddess".
