4/6 majors with the absolute benchmark of 30 are Pedagogy

(Dan Tri) - The 2025 admission season recorded 6 majors with an absolute benchmark score of 30/30, of which 4 are Pedagogy majors.

The 6 majors with the absolute benchmark score of 30/30 this year include 2 military majors: Medicine of the Military Medical Academy and International Relations of the Military Science Academy. These are all benchmarks applied to female candidates.

The remaining four majors are English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy at the two Foreign Language Universities of Vietnam National University , Hanoi and Hue University.

Notably, Hue University also applies additional criteria. For English pedagogy, candidates must achieve an English score of 9.5 or higher, and a literature score of 8.5 or higher. For Chinese pedagogy, candidates must have a perfect foreign language score of 10/10.

In 2025, the whole country will have only 9 candidates achieving a perfect score of 30/30 in the 3-subject combination, including 8 candidates in block A00 (math, physics, chemistry) and 1 candidate in block B00 (math, chemistry, biology).

However, with the permission to convert international language certificates into English scores in the admission combination, the number of candidates achieving 30/30 will increase significantly.
