500 million VND bonus for the winning team of the 2025 National Women's Championship

The 2025 National Women's Football Championship will kick off in September with total prize money of more than 1 billion VND.

On the afternoon of August 8, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the ceremony to announce the main sponsor and draw lots for the 2025 National Women's Football Championship took place.

The National Women's Football Championship is an annual tournament organized by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) for Vietnamese women's football clubs. 2025 is the 28th season, taking place from September 4 to October 13.

6 clubs will compete in a round robin of 2 rounds to calculate points, choose the team with the highest ranking to win the championship and represent Vietnam to participate in the AFC Champions League for women 2026 - 2027. Last season (2024 - 2025), Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club made history for Vietnamese football when they won a ticket to the semi-finals of the Asian Cup.

The total prize money for the 2025 National Women's Championship is 1.13 billion VND. Similar to the previous season, the prize includes 500 million VND for the champion club, 300 million VND for the runner-up team, 200 million VND for the third-place team, and 50 million VND for the club that wins the Style Award.

In addition, the organizing committee also announced the rewards for outstanding individuals, including 20 million VND for the best player of the tournament, 20 million VND for the top scorer and 20 million VND for the best goalkeeper of the tournament. The best referee team of the tournament was also awarded 20 million VND.
