52,651 poor and near-poor households received policy credit loans

According to data from the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) Dak Lak Branch, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has disbursed nearly VND 3,135 billion to 52,651 poor households, near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries.

Specifically, 5,153 poor households, 4,671 near-poor households, and 6,207 newly escaped-poverty households received loans to invest in production and business; 278 students in difficult circumstances received loans to study; 15,204 workers received jobs from loans to support job creation, job maintenance and expansion; 113 workers received loans to work abroad for a limited period; 16,162 clean water and rural environmental sanitation projects were built; 4,680 households received loans to produce and do business in difficult areas...

To date, the total outstanding policy credit balance in the province has reached more than VND 13,734 billion (an increase of more than VND 890 billion compared to the end of 2024, a growth rate of 6.93%), with 253,480 customers with outstanding debt.

Commune transaction activities after the reorganization and merger continued to be maintained stably and smoothly, with 287 transaction points in 102 communes and wards. Since the beginning of the year, the capital entrusted to the Social Policy Bank for lending to poor households and policy beneficiaries in the area has increased by nearly VND 212 billion compared to December 31, 2024, accounting for 8.1% of the total capital.
