6 medical and pharmaceutical facilities were administratively fined more than 320 million VND

Today, March 4, according to information from the Hanoi Department of Health , THL Pharmaceutical Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Tran Vu Street, Mai Dich Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi) was administratively fined nearly 115 million VND due to the warehouse storing raw materials not having enough shelves and prices; producing Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplements but the product label did not have enough information (no name, address of the manufacturer and the trader responsible for the product) or incorrectly stated (ingredients) the mandatory contents on the product label according to the law on product labels.

The Hanoi Department of Health Inspectorate forced the unit to recall the goods and label them properly before continuing to circulate; forced the recall and destruction of violating product labels.

In addition, the company's Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplement (NSX10.10.23; HSD 10.10.25, packaging 900g/box) is subject to self-declaration of products but has lipid content indicators that do not comply with the declared standards. For this violation, the Department of Health Inspectorate forces the facility to recall, change the purpose of use or recycle or destroy this batch of products, and suspend the production of food supplements for 2 months.

Hanoi Department of Health also said that Huyen Chi Ngoc Joint Stock Company (lane 214, Nguyen Xien street, Ha Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi) was fined more than 190 million VND for 4 violations.

Specifically: the establishment advertising the product Hogi whole milk at the website https://shop.huyenchingoc.com/ is not consistent with one of the prescribed documents (self-declared records); trading in goods (Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplement) with labels that do not fully state (no name, address of the manufacturer and the trader responsible for the product) or incorrectly state (ingredients) the mandatory contents on the product label according to the law on product labels.

This facility also trades in Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplement products and Hogi whole milk products with labels containing images and writings that do not match the nature and truth of the goods; trades and circulates on the market Yarmymilk Weightgain food supplement (Manufactured on 10.10.23; Expiry date 1010.25, specification 900 g/box) with lipid content indicators that do not comply with the announced standards.

Hanoi Health Department Inspectorate forced the facility to remove images (FDA logo) and writings that were not true to the nature and truth of the product.

Ngoc Chau pharmacy (Bo village, Huu Bang commune) and Phung Thi Mai Dung pharmacy (village 8, Thach Hoa commune), both in Thach That district (Hanoi), were both fined 2 million VND for not reporting to the Hanoi Department of Health in the case of suspension of operations for 6 months or more or termination of operations.

Anh Quan 1 Pharmacy (No. 43 Trung Kinh, Trung Hoa Ward) and Hai Long Pharmacy (No. 54, Ha Yen Quyet, Yen Hoa Ward), both in Cau Giay District, were fined 6 million VND for the following violations: mixing non-medicinal products with drugs in cases where they also sell cosmetics, functional foods, and medical equipment; not opening a book or not using a computer to manage import, export, storage, and tracking of batch numbers, expiry dates, origins of drugs, and other relevant information as prescribed by law.
