601 high school students in the province receive Nhan Thien scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year

BDK.VN - On the afternoon of June 25, 2025, at the Provincial People's Committee's Great Hall, the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients coordinated with sponsors to organize a ceremony to award Nhan Thien scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year to high school students with especially difficult circumstances in the province.

There are 601 high school students from 9 districts and cities receiving scholarships, each including 2.5 million VND in cash and 20 notebooks. The total cost of implementation is over 1.5 billion VND sponsored by Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited and other mobilized sources of the Association.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients, Tran Cong Ngu, emotionally shared: “For nearly 22 years, the Association has persistently built and developed the Nhan Thien scholarship program as a support for many poor and studious students. With more than 57,000 scholarships worth over 70 billion VND awarded, this is not only material support, but also deep spiritual encouragement, a helping hand for students to firmly overcome adversity.”

The Chairman of the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients expressed his deep gratitude to organizations, individuals, and sponsors inside and outside the province who have accompanied and contributed to the association throughout its humane journey. These hearts have sown seeds of hope and inspired the will to excel in studying in poor students. Many of them have grown up to become engineers, doctors, scientists ... contributing to the development of their homeland.

“Study, study more, study forever. We have the right to be proud of our homeland’s tradition of studiousness and continue to preserve and promote that tradition, together helping our dreams of studying fly high and far. Students, please always be good and study well so that in the future you will become useful citizens for your country and homeland,” Mr. Tran Cong Ngu told the scholarship recipients and all the attending delegates.

On this occasion, the leaders of the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients presented flowers and thank-you letters to the units, organizations and individuals who have contributed to the Nhan Thien Scholarship Fund as well as the association's activities over the past time.
