The 2024 Korean Food Festival takes place at Saigon Riverside Park (Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) until October 20.

There are more than 40 stalls to help diners experience a variety of familiar Korean dishes such as rice cakes, Korean fish cakes, fried chicken, Korean pears, rice milk, soju...

Many stalls allow diners to try for free, especially strange dishes such as dried pollock, Korean snacks...

Many products are sold at preferential prices, promotions make them easily accessible to customers.

"We hope that Vietnamese people will pay more attention to Korean food, so that the friendship between the two peoples will be increasingly strengthened," said Ms. Jung Gayeon, Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Korea, at the opening ceremony.

To add to the fun, the organizers gave diners "passports" to stamp after experiencing a number of booths.

Participants can also experience cultural activities: singing and dancing to K-pop covers; trying on Korean school uniforms; noodle cooking contest; kimchi salting workshop...

Bich Lien (Thu Duc City) said: "I feel like I'm acting in a Korean movie when I wear this school uniform.

Visiting the festival helps me learn more about Korean cuisine, as well as try many strange dishes from other countries."

Lou Hoang and LyLy both like Korean food.

At the festival, the K-food Wonderful Music Festival took place with the participation of singers Lou Hoang, LyLy, Amee, Noo Phuoc Thinh.

Lou Hoang said he really likes spicy rice cakes and wants to try them in Korea.

However, while traveling to a foreign country, because he didn't know Korean, he mistakenly ordered cold noodles and missed the chance to try the original spicy rice cakes.

From then on, Lou Hoang was determined to learn the language and learn more about Korean culture.

Singer LyLy revealed that she often cooks Korean food at home, especially kimbap because it is simple and delicious.

Amee performed songs with her sweet voice and attractive choreography, due to limited time, she could not share her story with diners.

On October 20, the kimchi salting workshop and K-pop Dance cover contest will take place at the 2024 Korean Food Festival .
