B Ray was boycotted but still appeared on air, Negav was cheered back by fans

Many Vietnamese stars like B Ray still appear on television and perform despite being involved in scandals and personal scandals.

Most recently, rapper Negav was found guilty of making many offensive statements in the past, including inappropriate words at a concert for 15,000 spectators. However, there are still a number of fans who are looking forward to Negav returning to perform at a concert in Hanoi .

A few months ago, Myra Tran was harshly criticized because social media spread a clip of the female singer performing at an event in the US 4-5 years ago. This clip contained some inappropriate and controversial images, causing Myra Tran to be boycotted.

The concert invited Myra Tran to sing, which made the audience angry. However, the singer's presence was kept secret until the last minute, despite the audience's objections.

Another case that caused outrage is B Ray with his position as a coach in Rap Viet. The male rapper is still in the hot seat of the famous program despite being involved in a scandal of offensive statements and being severely warned by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.

Before appearing on Rap Viet, B Ray was called for a boycott by the audience because of many sensitive posts on his personal page. However, the producer ignored public opinion and let B Ray sit in the hot seat of Rap Viet.

In addition, Le Duong Bao Lam is also a name that has caused outrage for a long time. From the beginning of 2024 until now, the audience counted Le Duong Bao Lam has apologized at least 10 times.

He continuously encountered noise and criticism for his ridiculous and offensive actions on livestreams and inappropriate statements on reality TV game shows.

Many people think that Le Duong Bao Lam is not an artist but he uses all tricks to become famous, then livestreams to sell products and accept advertisements.

In fact, in countries with developed entertainment industries such as Korea and China, restricting the activities of artists involved in scandals has been strictly implemented for many years.

In China, the ban was issued in 2020, applying to the entire film industry. Once administratively or criminally punished, the artist will no longer have the opportunity to appear in any television program, entertainment event, advertisement or media activity.

Fans are even ready to boycott artists as soon as they discover their idols have deviant lifestyles and violate ethics.

In Korea, artists involved in scandals are also banned from broadcasting. Over the years, Korean showbiz has witnessed cases of lost careers due to scandals such as Kim Jung Hoon, Jung Joon Young, Park Yoo Chun, Kim Hyun Joong, Kwang Ji Hwan.

SCMP newspaper commented that South Korea is a society that values discipline to develop a strong cultural industry. That is also the factor that makes the trend of cancellation and boycott in South Korea increasingly fierce, even fierce.
