With nearly 500 registrants, the Vietnam Music Talent Contest season IV has gathered a large number of high-quality contestants. After two preliminary and semi-final rounds held in three regions across the country, the Organizing Committee and the Jury have selected 15 most promising and qualified singers to participate in the final round.

The competition has found champions in 3 different music genres. The final performance and award ceremony named 3 champions in 3 music genres, including: Folk and lyrical music: Pham Hoang Quynh Giang - Candidate 238; Bolero music: Trong Thao - Candidate 305; Youth music: Nguyen Thi Thao - Candidate 23.
With a powerful voice, careful investment in image, costume and accompaniment, contestant Pham Hoang Quynh Giang conquered the jury and audience with the song "Return to Lam Giang", composed by Vu Quoc Nam, lyrics by Xuan Viet in the folk and lyrical music genre.
Pham Hoang Quynh Giang (candidate number 238) received the Champion award for folk and lyrical music.
The song "Anger 2", composed by Ngoc Son, helped Hoang Trong Thao win the bolero music championship.
Trong Thao won the Bolero music championship.
Nguyen Thi Thao, with her good-looking appearance and stage presence, also won the Youth Music Champion title with the song "Half a decade", composed by Hoang Dung.
The three first runner-up prizes of the three music genres went to the contestants: Hana Quynh Hoa (contestant number 231) - folk music and lyrical music; Nguyen Phi Hoang (contestant number 108) - bolero music; Le Ly (contestant number 256) - pop music.
Nguyen Thi Thao - Candidate No. 234 won the Youth Music Champion.
The 2nd Runner-up Prize worth 50,000,000 VND/prize was awarded to the contestants: Dinh Hai Nam (Candidate No. 181) - Folk and lyrical music, Hoang Anh Nhan (Candidate No. 291) - Bolero music and Nguyen Hung Thinh (Candidate No. 242) - Youth music.
The promising awards went to the following contestants: Mai Chung (candidate 239) - folk and lyrical music; Duong Van Luong (candidate 207) - Bolero; Le Huyen My (candidate 208) - pop music.
The Most Favorite Contestant Award worth 30,000,000 VND/prize belongs to: Le Ngoc Linh (Candidate No. 135) - Folk and lyrical music, Thu Hoa (Candidate No. 225) - Bolero music, Nguyen Xuan Quyet (Candidate No. 152) - Youth music.
3 contestants won the 1st runner-up prize at the final night of the Vietnam Music Talent 2024 contest.
The Vietnam Music Talent Contest focuses on finding more talented and gifted contestants, especially those who have a love and passion for singing and music. Expected to return in August this year, the contest will begin recruiting nationwide through the program's fanpage.
The conditions for participation are citizens living and working in Vietnam, aged 18-40 for pop music, 18-45 for folk music and 18-55 for lyrical music. The competition is organized in a direct format at the preliminary examination points in 3 regions across the country.
