Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

This morning (September 15), the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held the 4th meeting of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City announced the Politburo 's appointment decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Thus, the current Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee includes: Secretary Tran Luu Quang and 5 Deputy Secretaries including Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Vo Van Minh, Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Dang Minh Thong and Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet.

Ms. Van Thi Bach Tuyet was born in 1976, her hometown is Ho Chi Minh City. She is a delegate of the 15th National Assembly , term 2021-2026, member of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.

She has held the positions of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District (old); Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoc Mon District (old).

In October 2010, Ms. Tuyet was elected to the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 9 (2010-2015).

In October 2014, Ms. Tuyet was appointed Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism .

She was elected to the National Assembly in 2016 in constituency 9, Ho Chi Minh City.

On September 1, 2016, she was approved by the Standing Committee of the 14th National Assembly to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.

In July 2021, she was approved by the National Assembly Standing Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.
