From 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on August 14, this cloud area will cause rain in the above-mentioned area, then spread to other districts in Hanoi's inner city; during thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. The risk of natural disasters due to tornadoes, lightning and hail is level 1.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting informed that early in the morning of August 14, the Northern region and Thanh Hoa had showers and thunderstorms, with some places having heavy to very heavy rain. The rainfall as of 3:00 a.m. on August 14 was over 80 mm in some places such as: Hung Dao (Cao Bang) 91.8 mm, Lang Ngam ( Bac Kan ) 81.6 mm, Lang Chanh Town (Thanh Hoa) 135.2 mm...

During the evening and night of August 14, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 10-30 mm, and some places experiencing over 60 mm; thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Localized heavy rains can cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas. In urban areas, beware of heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding. Natural disaster risk due to tornadoes and lightning is level 1.

At sea, the northern Gulf of Tonkin has scattered showers and thunderstorms; thunderstorms are likely to produce tornadoes and strong gusts of wind. Visibility is over 10km, decreasing to 4-10km in the rain. South to southwest winds are at level 3-4; waves are 0.5-1.5m high.

No rain in the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai. Visibility is over 10km, South to Southwest wind level 3-4, waves 0.5-1.5m high. No rain in the sea area from Binh Dinh to Ninh Thuan. The North East Sea has scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places in the East; thunderstorms have the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind. Visibility is over 10 km, decreasing to 4-10 km in the rain, southwest wind level 4-5, waves 1-2 m high.

Provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue have clouds, hot and sunny days, some places have very hot weather; showers and thunderstorms in the evening and at night in some places. In Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places have heavy rain; thunderstorms are likely to occur with tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Southwest wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 34-37 degrees Celsius, some places over 37 degrees Celsius.

The Central Highlands region is cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms. West to Southwest wind level 2-3. Lowest temperature 21-24 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 29-32 degrees Celsius, some places above 32 degrees Celsius.

The Southern region is cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and at night; there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms; West to Southwest winds level 2-3. Lowest temperature 25-28 degrees Celsius. Highest temperature 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius.
