Specifically, the Bac Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company operates 39 units; the Nam Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company operates 145 units; and the Bac Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company operates 130 units.
At the pumping stations, technical staff and workers are on duty 24/7, operating the pumps and coordinating with local authorities to remove water fern, trash, and other obstacles to promptly clear the flow of water to the sluice gates and suction tanks. Equipment inspection and maintenance, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene are also regularly carried out by units to help the pumping system operate smoothly and effectively, promptly draining flooded areas.
As of October 13, the whole province still had 49 flooded villages and residential groups with more than 6,100 households affected, mainly in the communes and wards of Bo Ha, Yen The, Tan Yen, My Thai, Tien Luc, Van Ha... Irrigation management units continued to maintain maximum pump capacity, closely coordinated with localities to regulate water properly, speed up drainage in low-lying areas and prioritize the safety of winter crop production areas. If the weather is favorable, most of the flooded residential areas will basically be drained in the next 2-3 days.
