On the morning of October 4, the 17th Hue City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, held its final official working session.

The Executive Committee of the Hue City Party Committee, 17th term, was launched.

At the meeting, the Executive Committee of the Hue City Party Committee, 17th term, reported the results of the first meeting, elected the Delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party and officially introduced itself and received its tasks.

According to the report, the Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consisting of 15 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee term XVI, Chairman of the City People's Committee, was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the City Party Committee term XVII. Comrade Pham Duc Tien, Permanent Deputy Secretary term XVI; Comrade Phan Thien Dinh, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the City People's Council; and Comrade Nguyen Chi Tai, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, were elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee term XVII.

The Executive Committee also elected the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee consisting of 11 comrades, comrade Pham Thi Minh Hue continues to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee.

The Congress elected a delegation to the 14th National Congress, consisting of 18 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate. After synthesizing and receiving comments on the documents, voting to approve the Report synthesizing comments, draft documents and the Congress Resolution, the 17th Hue City Party Executive Committee was introduced and received its tasks, officially entering the 2025-2030 term.

In his closing speech, Comrade Nguyen Van Phuong, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, noted: The Congress has accepted the guidance of Comrade Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member. The resolutions adopted at the Congress have been thoroughly discussed, demonstrating the will, aspirations and determination of the entire city. The Congress was a great success. Immediately after the Congress of Party Committees at all levels, each delegate needs to organize well the dissemination of the Congress documents. Concretize the documents, promptly deploy and bring the resolutions into life.
