Handing over the management of 6 inland waterway ports on Ba Be Lake

On August 9, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ba Be commune, the Traffic Safety Committee of Thai Nguyen province coordinated with departments, branches and local authorities to organize the handover of management of 6 inland waterway wharves on Ba Be lake, according to the provisions of Decree 06/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

Giving life jackets to some boat owners and boat drivers.

The handover aims to ensure the management and exploitation of inland waterway ports in accordance with legal regulations, improve the efficiency of waterway transport activities, and ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic on the lake.

Along with the handover, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized propaganda on laws on order and safety of inland waterway traffic for owners and drivers of vehicles operating on Ba Be Lake - Nang River; distributed documents, life jackets and hung propaganda banners at the wharves.
