Standing side by side with the country's historical turning points in every period and circumstance, the press has always demonstrated revolutionary mettle and fighting spirit, as President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers; pens and paper are their sharp weapons."

During the years of fighting to liberate the country, journalists went to battle as soldiers, holding both pens and guns to fight, creating vibrant journalistic works, uniting millions of people to a common goal.

Entering the period of innovation and integration, the press continues to discover, encourage, motivate and replicate new models and factors, creating vibrant revolutionary action movements in all fields, making great achievements.

With talent, responsibility, dedication and practical experience, and sensitivity to current events, revolutionary journalists have played a good role in "pioneering", "leading" and orienting society, spreading good values ​​and positive energy; strongly fighting against stagnation and conservatism, creating breakthroughs in creative thinking and creating works that truly move people's hearts...

Many journalists have not been afraid of danger, difficulties, and hardships, bravely penetrating reality, promptly reporting on events, hot spots, natural disasters, storms and floods... In particular, the press has always been a sharp weapon in the fight against corruption, negativity, and waste, which our Party is implementing resolutely, synchronously, and effectively.

Nowadays, in the constant movement and transformation, Vietnam's revolutionary journalism has entered a new era of information technology, digital transformation, creative journalism...

Not satisfied with what has been, the press has been and is continuing to innovate to adapt, maintain its central role, lead and orient mainstream and official information flows.

Looking from the reality of the past time, the press has well applied modern science and technology to its operations, combining tradition and modernity, thoroughly using creative forms to create multimedia press products.

And the converged newsroom - an inevitable trend of modern journalism - has created multi-talented journalists who are proficient in using many new media; even a smartphone can become a "miniature newsroom" to create creative, high-quality journalistic works and products.

Changing to meet the urgent demands for skills and technology, as well as the increasing needs of the public, but only one thing never changes, which is the quality and mettle of revolutionary journalists.

Because although the development of technology is creating favorable conditions for the press, there are still unchanging values, which are the heart, mind, and will of journalists. Those qualities and bravery are constantly cultivated and honed to fully carry out the noble mission of "supporting the righteous and eliminating evil", the mainstream in the widespread flow of "mixed truth and falsehood" information.

The mettle of a journalist is also shown in his heart and vision, promoting the spirit of "bright eyes, pure heart, sharp pen", maintaining the dignity, personality, honor and self-respect of a journalist in the 4.0 era, must always demonstrate both heart and vision in each journalistic work.

Although there are still some press agencies that, at some times, still follow sensational and clickbait trends to attract readers, that is only a "phenomenon", not "common".

To always be a true soldier on the ideological and cultural front of the Party, the team of journalists today always has the consciousness to learn and improve to maintain the "fire of the profession". "Passion", "devotion", "responsibility" continue to be the guiding fire, helping the team of journalists firmly believe in the path they have chosen and dedicate themselves.
