Many shops and cafes in Dong Nai also joined in the jubilant atmosphere of the festival. The space was carefully decorated with corners displaying revolutionary images, old newspaper stalls, patriotic slogans and even red flags with yellow stars dotted on cups of water and cakes. All of this created a sacred yet intimate atmosphere, where everyone could capture beautiful moments on the nation's Independence Day.

Mr. Le Nguyen Minh Tan (Manager of Zen Tea shop, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) said: "On the special occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the shop arranged to hang many flags in the front yard and on the floors, as well as painted propaganda pictures with the desire to spread the spirit to more people. The shop also focused on making cakes and cups with the shape of the flag or the words "I love Vietnam" written on them... and these cakes are very popular with customers".
