On the morning of June 11, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son and the Ministry's working delegation inspected the preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in Hau Giang province. The Minister of Education and Training emphasized that there are still more than 10 days until the official exam. Although Hau Giang province does not have a large number of candidates, this is a national exam, so maximum care must be taken, because mistakes from one locality will affect the whole country.

Regarding the printing, copying, and transportation of exam papers and test papers, Mr. Son requested Hau Giang province to strictly comply with security regulations with maximum cooperation from the Public Security sector for this work. At the same time, he noted that all stages and contents must have backup plans.

Also on the morning of June 11, the Inspection Team of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, worked on preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in Ha Tinh . Mr. Thuong also reminded localities about the requirements of "4 rights" and "3 no's" in organizing the exam. "4 rights" are: correct exam regulations and instructions; correct and complete procedures; correct assigned positions and responsibilities; timely handling of unusual situations. "3 no's" are: no subjective negligence; no arbitrarily handling unusual situations; no excessive stress or pressure.

Mr. Pham Quoc Khanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) suggested that Ha Tinh should soon issue a decision on selecting a location to print and copy exam papers, review and supplement the tasks of the Examination Council; and carefully prepare facilities for the exam, such as rooms for storing exam papers, exam papers, and exam rooms to ensure security and safety.

Previously, from June 10, the inspection team of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam, led by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc, worked with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on preparations for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam. The inspection team noted that Ho Chi Minh City is one of the two localities with the largest number of candidates taking the High School Graduation Exam in the country. Therefore, Ho Chi Minh City must pay attention to the exam printing area. This is a very important area, if even a small factor occurs, it will affect the whole country.

At the same time, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi also had a meeting to inspect and work with Yen Bai province on preparations for the 2024 high school graduation exam on June 10. The report on exam preparation by the Yen Bai Provincial Examination Steering Committee said that although there was a plan to strengthen control in dealing with sophisticated cheating devices, this was still a major difficulty for all exam sites.

At the meeting, Major To Thanh Thuy - representative of Department A03 - Ministry of Public Security participating in the inspection team of the Ministry of Education and Training said that in the propaganda for candidates and training for officials participating in the exam, it is necessary to emphasize more on the importance of protecting the exam papers as "State secrets". The security work with the locations of printing and grading exams needs to be paid more attention to, to avoid leaking information about these locations.

Ms. Chi also emphasized that the quality of exam training must be done systematically and thoroughly, without being subjective. During the training process, situations that occur in other exam seasons and handling plans will be practical lessons for staff and teachers. Accordingly, if a situation arises, it is necessary to remember and be prepared to proactively respond, fulfill responsibilities and regulations, and when the incident exceeds authority, it is necessary to report to superiors and not handle it arbitrarily or habitually.
