Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television support overcoming consequences of natural disasters

On the morning of October 12, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television led by Comrade Mai Duc Thong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief, visited and presented gifts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards. Also attending were leaders of the Editorial Board and Trade Union of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television.

Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television Mai Duc Thong shared the losses and difficulties of some households in Ha Giang 1 ward and the agency's staff and workers.

Due to the impact of the recent storm No. 10, severe flooding occurred in some areas of Ha Giang 1 ward and Ha Giang 2 ward, affecting the lives and properties of the people. Through the mobilization and connection of sponsors, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television provided support to 5 families in Ha Giang 1 ward who suffered heavy damage and 36 officials, civil servants and employees of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television who were affected. Along with that, Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Radio and Television Trade Union supported 36 union members and agency employees who were affected.

Through the connection of Tuyen Quang Newspaper and Radio and Television, Ho Chi Minh City businesses have supported 107 million VND for people in flood-affected areas.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, comrade Mai Duc Thong and the leaders of the Trade Union kindly asked about the health and understood the damage situation of the affected households in Ha Giang 1 ward. At the same time, they shared the difficulties with the officials, civil servants and workers and hoped that the families would quickly overcome the loss of property and soon stabilize their lives and work.

In the recent flood, Le Quy Don Secondary School was deeply inundated, affecting many facilities and many desks, chairs, books... total damage of over 174 million VND. The whole school has 435 students, of which 26 families were severely affected.

The delegation donated 2,000 notebooks to students of Le Quy Don Secondary School.

Visiting the staff, teachers and students of Le Quy Don Secondary School, comrade Mai Duc Thong sent words of encouragement and shared the school's difficulties. At the same time, he presented 2,000 notebooks to the students.
