The intersection between Provincial Road 553 (DT.553) and District Road 131 (DH.131) passing through Cam Binh commune is one of the intersections with high potential risk of traffic accidents, especially at night.

Traffic volume through the intersection between Provincial Road 553 and District Road 131 through Cam Binh Commune (Cam Xuyen - Ha Tinh) is quite heavy.

DH.131 is the route leading to the administrative center of Thach Binh commune (Ha Tinh city) and Cam Binh commune (Cam Xuyen district), and DT.553 route connects from National Highway 1 to Ha Tinh coastal road, so the traffic volume and people passing through the intersection of these two routes are always busy day and night.

There are no traffic lights, while the amount of heavy trucks passing by continuously makes traffic participants feel insecure every time they move through here.

According to observations, this intersection has a fairly wide range but the visibility of traffic participants, especially in the direction from Route DH.131, is limited due to houses and shops blocking it. In particular, the intersection has not been installed with a traffic light system, speed limit warning signs and night lighting, leading to a very high risk of traffic accidents.

According to local residents, this intersection often has collisions and traffic accidents, with minor injuries and serious injuries and vehicle damage.

Traffic accidents often occur at this intersection.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thin (Vinh Thai village, Cam Binh commune) - a resident living next to this intersection said: "Due to the heavy traffic volume, plus the fact that there are many households living and doing business around the roads, especially at night, there are no lights in the intersection area, the traffic safety system is not complete, making traffic at this intersection very complicated."

According to Mr. Thin, every time you move through this intersection, you have to observe very carefully, especially during the harvest season, when people often move to harvest rice and sow, so the unsafe situation is even higher. People really hope that the traffic light system will be installed soon.

Traffic participants and people living nearby hope that the authorities will soon install a traffic light system to ensure safety.

Without warning signs or traffic lights, the intersection between DT.553 and DH.131 always makes traffic participants, especially motorbikes, feel insecure every time they pass through here. Ms. Hoang Thi Nga - (Vinh Thai village, Cam Binh commune) expressed: "From the shortcomings in the past time, we hope that the authorities at all levels and branches will soon handle the potential risks of accidents such as adding traffic signs, designing speed bumps or installing traffic lights to ensure safety for people passing by."

The intersection is quite wide, always posing a risk of traffic accidents if traffic lights and warning signs are not installed.
