On the morning of September 30, after the storm had weakened, the staff and teachers of Huong Lam Kindergarten (Huong Xuan Commune) were present early to check the damage and carry out disaster recovery work. The storm caused some trees in the school grounds to fall and part of the roof to be damaged. Immediately after the weather stabilized, the school mobilized teachers to clean up fallen trees, collect garbage, clean classrooms and equipment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for students.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Principal of the school said: "Currently, the remedial work is being urgently deployed with the highest proactive spirit. Every teacher is clearly aware that this is the top priority task, because we want to soon maintain the learning routine and bring the children back to a familiar, safe space."
The recent storm No. 10 has caused heavy damage to many educational facilities in Ha Tinh, including Thach Long Primary School (Thach Ha commune) - one of the most seriously affected locations. The entire school campus was in disarray after the storm. Most of the school buildings, the parking area, the stage, and the library had their roofs blown off, many classrooms had broken windows, and trees were downed...

Immediately after the storm, the school staff and teachers were present early to carry out the recovery work. With a high sense of responsibility, everyone worked together to clear trees, collect trash, clean classrooms, and rebuild temporary roofs.
Ms. Duong Thi Hong Thuong - Principal of Thach Long Primary School shared: “The damage to the facilities is huge, but we determined that we need to act quickly to stabilize the situation. The teachers all volunteered to come to school and work together to overcome the consequences. We also hope to receive the attention and support of local authorities and functional forces to speed up the repair and restoration process. We hope that the weather will stabilize so that the school cleaning work can be completed so that students can return to school soon.”

In Huong Son commune, the impact of storm No. 10 and continued heavy rains caused floodwaters in many areas to rise. Some schools in the area experienced localized flooding, posing many potential risks to property and school facilities. Faced with the complicated weather, schools in the area proactively coordinated with local authorities and support forces such as police, militia, youth union, etc. to move teaching equipment, desks, chairs, documents, and student supplies to safe places, minimizing damage caused by floods.
Pho Chau Kindergarten (Huong Son Commune) - one of the schools affected by rising floodwaters, property protection work was carried out urgently and seriously. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Sa - Principal of the school shared: "The school promptly developed a response plan when heavy rains continued. We proactively moved equipment and property to higher ground, especially in areas at risk of deep flooding. Thanks to the timely support of local forces, the relocation work was carried out quickly and safely. We always prioritize protecting facilities so that when conditions allow, teaching and learning can be stabilized soon."

In Thanh Sen ward, as soon as the storm passed, the recovery work at educational facilities was focused. With the spirit of "All for beloved students", teachers quickly cleaned up trash, collected fallen tree branches... to restore a safe and clean learning environment in the fastest time, ensuring that students could return to class soon without any interruption to the program.
“As soon as the storm passed, all the teachers rushed to clean up. We identified this as our top priority. The goal is not only to restore the facilities but also to ensure absolute safety for students, from the electricity and water systems to the surrounding environment. The school is determined to stabilize all activities soon so that students can return to class with peace of mind,” informed Ms. Trinh Thi Anh Tuyet, Principal of Bac Ha Primary School.
With the determination and solidarity of the entire teaching staff, schools in Ha Tinh are making every effort to overcome the consequences of the storm.
