Provincial Border Guard conducts tactical drills with a live-fire component

On October 3 and 4, at Quang Duc Border Guard Station, the Provincial Border Guard Command organized a tactical drill with a live-fire part with the theme "Quang Duc Border Guard Station switches to combat readiness status to perform task A3; organizes preparations and practices raid combat to protect the border".

Tactical exercises with live ammunition are the highest form of training, closest to actual combat, aiming to improve the combat command and organization capacity of commanders at all levels in the work of managing and protecting borders, seas, airspace, fighting to protect units and the ability to use weapons and equipment in the staff's establishment.

The live-fire drill to fight enemy raids to protect the border is new content, the first time the provincial Border Guard organized it, so experience in raid tactics is not much, mainly learning while doing, supplementing to perfect.

Thanks to good preparation, the exercise was successfully organized, achieving the set goals and requirements, ensuring absolute safety.

After the drill at Quang Duc Border Guard Station, the Provincial Border Guard Command will organize a general experience sharing session for the units. For Tra Co, Hon Gai, Thanh Lan Border Guard Stations, only drills will be held on the mechanism operation part, not on firing air bullets.

In his closing speech at the exercise, Colonel Tran Van Thanh, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, commended, acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the forces participating in the exercise, especially the field troops, who strictly followed the regulations of the Command and the Exercise Steering Committee; practiced seriously, responsibly, had good solidarity and ensured absolute safety in all aspects, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the integrity of territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation.
