On the evening of September 23, Ngoc Vung Border Guard Station fired flares, calling on ships to urgently find safe shelter.
Previously, the unit sent officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities to check and call on fishermen and vehicles still operating at sea to quickly return to shore, absolutely not allowing people and boats to stay in the dangerous area.
Tra Co Border Guard Station went down to each boat to inform fishermen about the developments of storm Ragasa.
On September 23, Tra Co Border Guard Station continued to mobilize 2 working groups with nearly 12 officers and soldiers to directly go down to boats and aquaculture cages to propagate and mobilize fishermen to come ashore.
By the afternoon of September 23, the unit had called 170 vehicles with 305 crew members to a safe anchorage. Currently, the Station is maintaining 2 boats with 12 officers and soldiers on duty, ready to participate in rescue operations when necessary.
Tran Island Border Guard Station helps fishermen bring their vehicles to a safe storm shelter.
At Tran Island, Tran Island Border Guard Station sent 10 officers and soldiers to help Tran Village Inter-level School (Co To Special Zone) and local people reinforce their houses and prepare for the storm before it hits. Previously, the Station sent forces to Tran Village to help people tie up 5 aquaculture cages and support 16 vehicles with 37 fishermen to safe shelters.
