On July 16, the People's Committee of Cho Lach district, Ben Tre province held a ceremony to launch the brand identity of Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village; launch the "Beautiful Gate - Green Fence" Contest; and inform about the plan to organize the Cho Lach Ornamental Flower Festival at the end of 2024.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee introduced the Executive Board to implement the Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village Project.
Representatives of the Mekong Institute of Applied Science, Technology and Training introduced the logo and slogan to identify the Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village brand.
The logo has 4 wings as a wish for 4 seasons of prosperity, good land for birds to perch, bringing prosperity, warmth, and luck to the people; symbolizing 4 communes of Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village.
The slogan “Love of land, love of people” is the highest generalization for the culture, history and characteristics of the daily life and production of the people here. This is also the message welcoming visitors to Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village to understand and feel the nature, people and behavioral culture of the “garden civilization” of the Mekong Delta.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Tre province Tran Ngoc Tam said that the Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village Project is a key project according to the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
The village was built to create connections and mutual support in tourism and agriculture to promote rural development, increase the core value of agricultural products, build new rural areas and OCOP products.
Chairman of Ben Tre Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam suggested that in the coming time, relevant departments and branches prioritize supporting Cho Lach district to speed up the project implementation progress.
According to Chairman of the People's Committee of Cho Lach District Pham Anh Linh, Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village has the participation of people from 4 communes: Phu Son, Vinh Hoa, Vinh Thanh and Long Thoi, with an area of nearly 1,500 hectares. This place has the characteristics of people working in the production of ornamental flower seedlings such as: growing bougainvillea, making mai flowers, growing chrysanthemums and making seedlings...

The launch of the Cho Lach Cultural Tourism Village Brand Identity not only reflects the unique cultural identity but is also a tool to help the locality introduce and promote the cultural beauty, history, people and landscape of Cho Lach to friends near and far. Thereby, the district attracts attention and investment from businesses, organizations and tourists, contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development.
Along with this event, the People's Committee of Cho Lach district launched the "Beautiful Gate - Green Fence" Contest; the movement "Every household cleans up to create a green, clean and beautiful landscape" in response to the Cho Lach Ornamental Flower Festival at the end of 2024. These are meaningful and practical activities to encourage each person, especially in the Cultural Tourism Village, to raise awareness of environmental protection, preserve and beautify the landscape where they live...
On this occasion, delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate District Road 35. The completion of upgrading District Road 35 helps improve traffic infrastructure, contribute to socio-economic development, improve people's lives in the area, create favorable conditions for goods circulation, develop tourism and attract investment in the coming time.
