VTV Can Tho currently has a system of 4 news bulletins "Mien Tay Hom Nay", 120 minutes/day, focusing on the current events of the Mekong Delta region. Besides the news section, VTV Can Tho also focuses on investing in many entertainment programs such as: "Missing the West", "Memories of the West", "Report", "Documentary", " Agriculture 4.0", "Climate change"...

Journalist Vo Ngoc Van Quan, Director of VTV Can Tho, said: The Mekong Delta is one of the important strategic regions, contributing greatly to food security, agricultural exports and marine economic development. Not only is it the country's rice, fruit and seafood granary, the Mekong Delta is also a land rich in cultural identity, with gentle and creative people. Therefore, enhancing the region's content on national television is an important political task, and at the same time, VTV's commitment to accompany the sustainable development of the region.
To achieve the above goal, the Director of VTV Can Tho emphasized: VTV Can Tho promotes the spirit of cooperation, closely coordinates with local newspapers and television stations, resident press agencies and media organizations; businesses and organizations interested in promoting and developing brands associated with the land and people of the South.
