Dong Nai Provincial Party Secretary sent a letter praising the rescue team in the middle of the night

On May 3, Thanh Nien Newspaper published an article titled "Members of the Rescue Team in the Middle of the Night", informing about the newly established Song Nhan Commune Rescue and Crime Prevention Team (PCTP Team) which has already assisted many cases of accidents in the middle of the night on deserted roads. After the article was published, Dong Nai Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh sent a letter of praise and encouragement for the team's activities.

The content of the commendation letter from the Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee reads: "These are beautiful actions and very humane deeds, providing timely support in emergency situations that affect people's lives, promoting the fine tradition of mutual love of our Vietnamese people...".

Mr. Tran Anh Kiet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Song Nhan Commune, said: "After receiving the letter of commendation from the Provincial Party Secretary, we notified the team members to encourage their spirit. The commune is also planning to organize the handing of letters of commendation to the members to encourage their spirit and further promote the team's activities."

The PCTP team of Song Nhan commune took the accident victim at night to the hospital for emergency treatment.

The Song Nhan Commune Police Emergency Response Team was newly established at the end of 2022. Most of the team members are laborers, auto mechanics, workers, and young people working in the fields. Mr. Do Trung Truong, Captain of the Song Nhan Commune Police Emergency Response Team, who also provides a private car for the team to use as an ambulance, said: "We divide our duty schedules. The leader of Song Nhan Commune People's Committee said that the team operates on a voluntary basis, with the members contributing their human and material resources and is under the management of the Commune People's Committee, under the direct command of the Commune Police Chief. Currently, there is 1 team leader, 2 deputy team leaders and 12 members.

The team has a self-equipped ambulance and other support tools such as rubber sticks, wooden sticks, raincoats, flashlights... The team's main task is to organize rescue, emergency care for sick people, traffic accidents or cases of damaged vehicles or... running out of gas, after 9 p.m.

Mr. Tran Anh Kiet said the team enjoys policies according to the Government's decrees. "The team's duties and rights to operate are within the commune, but in many emergency cases, including calls for help because... of running out of gas, they can flexibly move outside the area," Mr. Kiet said.
